The project creates verified pathways for people to find goods and understand provenance without forcing communities to give up control. It balances visibility with consent and context.

How it avoids extraction

Tribal Goods Trail does not monetize community data and does not expose sensitive cultural information. Visibility is granted on the community's terms, with a focus on accountability rather than extraction.
